CellShip® is our fully defined, xeno-free cell transportation medium. It’s our new alternative to cryopreservation. Cellship is our simple and low-cost way to transport or store cells at ambient temperatures.  Our new product provides an alternative to cryopreservation for the transport and short-term storage of mammalian cell lines.

We are happy to share that LSG developed CellShip® as part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (Innovate UK) between LSG and Coventry University. This new, innovative product provides an alternative to using logistically challenging and expensive dry ice or shippers. Your cells can now be transported between many different sites at ambient temperatures. Simple!

An important benefit to note is that the protocol requires minimal cell manipulation. It also reduces the risk of contamination and improves efficiency within the laboratory.
